Our Story
After extensive searching in the region, the ideal plot of land was found to build Au5000. Construction was completed in October 2023, and since then Au5000 has been offering unique stays.
Au5000 is a story of family and river. Shawinigan Bay enchanted us with its beauty and the diversity of activities it offers: swimming, paddleboarding, windsurfing, canoeing/kayaking, fishing... In 2022, construction began on Au5000, with local companies involved. One year later, Au5000 welcomed its first visitors.

We built Au5000 in 2023 on a 13-hectare property overlooking the St. Maurice River. This is the place I wanted to share to showcase the beautiful Mauricie region. All the rooms, the pool, the outdoor living area, and the indoor living space: everything has been designed to ensure your stay is friendly, comfortable, and unforgettable.
