Data Collected
When using this website, we collect the following personal data through the contact and booking form: first name, last name, email address, phone number, desired stay dates, number of guests and optional message. No payment data is collected on this website.
Purpose of Processing
The data collected is used to respond to your booking or information requests, and to contact you in connection with the management of your stay at Au5000 chalet. We do not sell your data. If you accept measurement and advertising cookies, browsing data and the submission of your booking request are also shared with Google and Meta to measure site traffic and how well our ads perform (see the cookies section).
Data Retention
Your data is retained for the duration necessary to process your booking request and, where applicable, for the applicable legal retention period. Data is stored securely in Supabase Inc. systems.
Third Parties and Subcontractors
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (data storage), Resend (sending notification emails), Netlify (hosting), Google (audience measurement and advertising tracking: Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram ad measurement: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only after your consent). Supabase, Resend and Netlify only process your data on our instructions and within the framework of our contractual relationships with them. Google and Meta receive browsing data according to your choice, described in the cookies section.
Cookies and Audience Measurement
On your first visit, a card asks whether you accept measurement and advertising cookies. Accept and Refuse carry the same weight, and your choice is kept for 12 months. If you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies to measure traffic (pages viewed, interactions, device type, approximate region) and how well our ads perform. The Meta Pixel then follows the steps of your request (availability viewed, dates chosen, request or message sent), and Meta's Conversions API receives the submission of your booking request from our server, with your email and phone number irreversibly encrypted (hashed), your IP address and your browser. If you refuse, or until you choose, no advertising cookie is set, Meta receives nothing, and Google only receives cookieless signals that help it estimate traffic. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; withdrawal takes effect immediately. The campaign parameters of an ad link (platform, medium, campaign name) are attached to your booking request even without consent: they describe an ad, not a person.
Your Rights
In accordance with laws in force in Quebec, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@au5000.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.
